This experience includes a theoretical session led by certified instructors, followed by a supervised dive that reaches depths of up to 12 meters.

Tarifa Island: Rich Biodiversity in a Natural Reserve
Tarifa Island, situated in a protected natural reserve in Cádiz, offers an exceptional variety of marine life including ocean sunfish, groupers, and eagle rays. Vibrant colonies of orange and green Astroides corals add color to the underwater landscape. Buddha Divers organizes guided dives lasting around 45 minutes, led by certified PADI instructors. At Scuba Point, instructors—nicknamed the “Mermaids of Tenerife”—offer 2- to 3-hour trial sessions combining theory and hands-on training. Prices are €64.90 per person or €129.80 for two.
Strengthening the Marine Industry: Robotics and Diving in Focus
In a move to support small businesses in the marine and aquaculture sectors, more than 20 entrepreneurs and companies gathered in Puerto Montt for a regional summit on marine technology. The event, held at AIEP Puerto Montt, was organized by Sercotec’s Puerto Montt Business Center in collaboration with Corfo Los Lagos.
The meeting focused on informing attendees about Corfo’s financial instruments, eligibility criteria, and emphasis on innovation and investment. A key highlight was the proposal to form Productive Cooperation Hubs—collaborative groups aimed at boosting competitiveness and shared development among small companies in the sector.
During the session, Eduardo Arancibia Romo, Regional Director of Corfo Los Lagos, discussed the strategic pillars of the Regional Productive Development Committee (CDPR). He emphasized the importance of coordination with Sercotec Business Centers to help businesses access government support tools and navigate Corfo’s development programs.
